"Toyota's iQ-based electric car, due to be launched in 2010, will get its own body style to create a stand-alone model which will become Toyota’s first all-electric car" (emphasis added.)I'm pretty sure I just stepped out of my 2002 Toyota RAV4 EV. With 69,000 miles on the original battery, it still gets over 100 miles per charge.
Toyota still wishing away it's own achievement. What's that about?
I'll be happy to see Toyota release a car with a plug, but I'm not holding my breath.

I hope thats not Toyotas new electric nerdmobile in that pic. Along with the IMEIV and the think electric youd think it was 1973 again. Are they trying to scare consumers away? Hum maybe they are.God forbid they would start building the Rav EV again or similar. If this is the best they can do I'll be buying that Tesla sedan.

There's an old proverb: "Success has many fathers, while failure is an orphan" In the bizarro world of electric vehicles, the carmakers have managed to get this backward.
