Thomson Financial is reporting that Mitsubishi aims to launch its i-MiEV city electric car one year earlier than expected. Techon blog from Japan gives more details. 16kWh of Lithium betteries. 160 kilometer range.
Mitsubishi Motors President Osamu Mashiko clearly stated "We will commercialize a small electric vehicle in 2009..."
